- I am a lifelong and committed Dallas Cowboy fan, so let me say . . . "Go Titans!" My great hopes for this season are quickly dissipating. The Cowboys are "playing" like a group of overpaid and cocky athletes who seem to think a Super Bowl is an entitlement and not something they must earn on the playing field. Jeff Fisher's Titans seem to be the antithesis of this.
- The San Francisco Bay area is a beautiful place filled with a lot of strange people! I am enjoying my time here, but this is as far away from my "Texas roots" as I have ever been.
- I have found good Mexican food in northern California . . . Chevys is a great place to eat.
- I am tired of hotel beds!!!
- I absolutely love The Cosby Show . . . even when watching an episode for the 15th time. Why can't the Networks make TV like that again?
- I met someone who knows Willie Mays yesterday. Now, that was a baseball player!
- The Democrats controlling the Presidency and both houses of Congress??? I'm afraid that the next two years will result in the raising of taxes (and, yes, even on those making far less than 250k), the cramping down on free speech and dissent (the "Fairness Doctrine"), the socialization of medical care, the government takeover of the oil companies and other "Big" industries, the radicalization of the courts (to a further degree), the weakening of the military and our national safety . . . and the list continues.
- Whatever happens in the election, the KING still rules!

I too, am a Cowboy fan, not greatly proud of them right now, but you can't be fair-weather fan here.
The pics are nice, never been there.
I love the Cosby Show too, T.V. isn't what it used to be, is it? Too bad =(.
I am with you, our country is in a mess and fixing to get into a bigger one unless the Lord intervenes and even then who knows. I believe who ever gets in will only get in because God has allowed it. I am reminded of what Jesus told Pilate, "You only have power over me because it was given to you from above", somehow that brings my soul comfort & peace.
May the King cont. to bless His little USA ramnant! Enjoyed reading your post.
BTW have you ever been to The Red River Family Encampment? I believe I have heard your ministry mentioned there.
His,
Maria
Loved all the pictures. You promised me a picture of the bridge. You delivered.
Enjoyed our time together over a hamburger. Can't wait to see you again, my friend.
Trey, it was a blessing to be with you and your family and with the Childress church again. Thank you for the invitation.
Maria, thank you for your comments. I have appreciated your visits to my blog. I have never personally been to the Red River Family Encampment, but we always have some from the Manuelito Home attend. All of our kids and houseparents were there this past summer. I am planning on attending this next summer.
Blessings,
Jeff
